RelayFX guidelines
Trading & Automation Risk
Understand the limits of automation before connecting a live account.
Updated 1 November 2026
1. Capital is at risk
Foreign exchange and CFDs can involve leverage and rapid losses. You can lose the funds in your account; additional liability depends on your broker, product and applicable protections. Only use money you can afford to lose. RelayFX provides software, not personalised investment advice or a promise of profit.
2. You select the sources and settings
You choose the Telegram channels, accounts, position sizes, stops and other controls. A channel may publish inaccurate, delayed or fraudulent signals. RelayFX does not verify a provider’s profitability. Start with a demo account, verify parsed instructions and understand the settings before enabling live execution.
3. Execution depends on connected systems
Your Windows trading engine, MT5 terminal, network, Telegram and broker must be available. Signals can be missed, rejected, delayed or interpreted incorrectly. Market prices can gap and fills can slip. A stop loss, drawdown guard or breakeven rule cannot eliminate risk or guarantee a particular fill price. Illustrative website workflows are demonstrations, not live execution reports.
4. Monitor and retain direct access
Monitor your account and keep direct broker access. Disabling automation or disconnecting a channel does not necessarily close existing positions or cancel pending broker orders. Review these directly in MT5 when needed. Never rely on a website animation or a stale connection indicator as proof that an order was filled.
5. Broker and prop-firm requirements
A displayed logo identifies an independent company; it does not establish endorsement or universal compatibility. Platform availability varies by account type and region. Confirm MT5 access and automated/copy-trading permissions with the company before connecting. Prop-firm evaluations may use simulated accounts and restrict third-party EAs, copying, account allocation or trading behaviour. Their current rules take precedence.
6. Historical results and analytics
Backtests, simulated results and historical account data do not predict future performance. Analytics depend on the completeness and timestamps of broker data. Currency, costs, deposits and withdrawals can affect comparisons. A share card reports the recorded trade outcome; price change is not leveraged return on capital.
